The Universities of Nottingham, Birmingham and Leicester are proud to announce the Sixth Midlands Viking Symposium, an event designed to bring together academics and non-academics interested in Viking Studies working in the Midlands. Talks will be given by specialists from a variety of disciplines whose work contributes to research in Viking Studies in Scandinavia, the British Isles and further afield. This research covers topics in population genetics, language, literature, numismatics, sculpture, history and archaeology.
